I've been dogsitting for years, both via websites such as this one and for family members. I currently work part-time for a dog walking service which I absolutely adore. The job involves picking up dogs and taking them on walks in their local area. As a result I am used to walking boisterous dogs and managing behaviour as part of a pack. We have older dogs too and provide them with gentler and/or shorter walks. The job is the best in the world and I've loved getting to know the dogs. I'm looking for more work looking after pets in the local area.

I work part-time two days a week and my afternoons/evenings are mostly free as well as a couple of mornings per week, so I'm quite flexible.

We have a "catio" so that my slightly crazy cat can explore outdoors whilst still staying safe as we live near a busy road. Obviously safety is paramount and I am gentle and respectful when getting to know new pets. My cat is my world and her happiness and safety is number one, so I understand how pet owners feel. I'm sticking with pet sitting in a client's home, drop-in visits and dog walking for now, as I don't currently have a garden.

My favourite part of looking after pets is providing them with stimulating playtime which is great fun and wonderful for their mental health. I bring my own treats, toys and and doggy bags on walks so you don't need to worry about providing anything but the dog! 

Walk rates are based on 45 minutes- we can discuss if you'd like a longer or shorter walk.
