I recently moved back to Oxford to study for my PhD where I am studying wildlife conservation, though this means I am only available about half of the year, contact me to confirm I am not in the field looking for chimpanzees or lions! Currently available until January 2020. I will be away all of the spring of 2020.
I spent several years caring for and training exotic animals in a professional capacity as a zookeeper. I have a lot of experience caring for birds, reptiles, small mammals, and hoofstock (like horses) as well as dogs and cats. I trained animals for accredited zoological education programs at the Dallas Zoo and the Palm Beach Zoo and cared for a variety of big cat species at In-Sync Exotics Big Cat Rescue. I have also worked with accredited wildlife rescue organizations in the US.
I am more than happy to provide care for your pet; feathers, scales, fur and all. This can include feeding, administration of medication, cleaning enclosures, going for walks, or spending quality time with them so they don't miss you too much! Pets are welcome to come and stay with me as I currently own no animals.
I can also provide basic behavioral training for dogs. I only use positive reinforcement training, usually motivated with healthy treats (depending on what suits your dog! Everyone is different).
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
