I do not currently own a dog but previously owned dogs for over 30 years. I really miss having a dog around but want to think carefully before committing to another one and when I do it will probably be a rescue dog as the number of unwanted dogs in rescue homes really upsets me. I sponsor two dogs in the Dogs Trust.
I love walking and live in a semi rural village surrounded by open fields and woods. I will tailor walks to the breed, size and age of your dog, taking into account the routine he/she is accustomed to.
I live in a cottage with a good size, securely fenced garden I understand what it is like to worry about leaving your dog. I was a dog owner for the past 35 years and always found going on holiday stressful as I didn't like the idea of kennels and worried about leaving a dog somewhere she wouldn't be happy, especially when she was old and became confused and stressed with any change in her routine. I often look after friends' and relatives' dogs when they are away and treat all visiting dogs as if they were my own and part of the family.
My own children are grown up but I childmind my grandchildren two days a week.

Second time using Sally to look after our dogs and once again excellent service and our boys were taken great care of. We would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be using her again.
We found Sally was very uncommunicative, didn’t get any updates unless we asked. Our dog was very badly injured during his stay and while Sally did take him to the vets quite a few times, she has never asked how he is since we have had him back. The treatment for our dog is ongoing and up to now is over £4000. We have sent a cheque to Sally for the treatment she paid for but haven’t even had a message from her in acknowledgment.
