Since childhood I have had a passion for all animals, particularly of dogs. I have always lived with them as a child and as an adult. Since 1989 I have bred golden retrievers both in the UK and in France. I have also had experience as a guide-dog trainer in both countries, as well as in Belgium.

Dog behaviour is one of my special interests. I can give advice in case you have some issues with your dog's behaviour, whatever the breed

As I have experience of most health issues in dogs, I can spot the symptoms of a serious illness and in the event of an emergency take your pet to the vet's. I have a car.

I like long walks with my dogs and will do the same with yours, as if it was my own. (Minimum an hour a day)

I am happy to look after your pets in your home if you go away on holiday. This is the sort of arrangement I prefer for my own dogs if I have to go away without them, which is very rare as they come everywhere with me, including when I am dog sitting. They get on with all dogs.

I don't put them in boarding kennels. It is not right that your pet should spend time behind bars when you are having fun on holiday. They should be on holiday too in their own environment with friendly and competent people looking after them.

I am retired, therefore available most of the time

I am available for dog sitting from a few hours to a few weeks. I can walk all dogs according to the owners' instructions

I can also help with behaviour issues, thanks to my experience with the guide dog association

I also have years' experience with dogs, having bred golden retrievers for 40 years
