I am a mature, married lady who is the owner of 6 cats, 2 of which are disabled and were adopted from a cat sanctuary in Rome. As I have no children, they are my children!

I have always loved animals and I fully appreciate the difficulties and problems that we face when going away from home and having to leave our beloved pets behind. To have the knowledge and reassurance of knowing that our loved ones can be cared for and looked after in the comfort of their own homes gives us such valuable peace of mind and is vital for both pet and pet owner. I have had unfortunate experiences in leaving my pets in what appeared to be good catteries and kennels and upon collecting them after several days away, smelling the fear and seeing the distress caused by them being left in an alien environment. I would not wish any animal to be put through this ordeal. I’ve also had the experience of leaving my pets with neighbours who are not as thorough and caring as I am and returning to find them unkempt and unhappy. It is clear to me that animals who are cared for by animal lovers in their own home

is by far the best option.

I am patient, compassionate, understanding and empathetic to the needs of others. I pride myself in being a perfectionist and put myself into the shoes of others. I have very high standards of providing excellent service and doing to others what I would like done to myself. Many people tell me that I love animals more than people! It is true to say that I am more upset witnessing cruelty to animals than to people.

My services would include either visiting the house twice a day to feed, water, clean up, help with toileting, walking and spend some quality time with the pet/pets or to live in for the duration of the time the owners are away.

I am prepared to travel within a 10-15 mile radius from home (St Fillans, Perthshire) but any further I would need to charge some traveling expenses which can be discussed at a later date.
