My motivation to be a pet sitter lies with me being away from home at university and missing my doggy back home!! I have also always loved taking care of all animals, I find them so cute and great company. We have had our cocker spaniel for 5 years, and during this time I have taken her on many walks, taken care of her during the days and overnights when my parents were working or away, fed and played with her ( she's very very playful!) Additionally, I have availability in the week and weekends, I have a part time job where I work on Monday and Wednesday (for three hours each of those days) and university commitments, but apart from that I have a lot of free time! I'd be happy to help out with house sitting taking care of pets, dog walking, or drop in visits for feeding or playing when owners are busy at work.
When I do home visits, especially overnight ones, I am more than happy to do some other small tasks such as watering plants, bringing in mail and cleaning in exchange for you allowing me to stay in your home. For my dog walking services, I live next to Stoke Park, where, if your dog is well behaved and has good recall, I can take them off lead and have a really good run around, I know there are other dogs that walk there as I visit so regularly.
