Hi! My name is Tyler, i am 22 years old and currently in my final year studying animal behaviour and welfare at the university of Plymouth. Ever since a young age i have been obsessed with animals, always begging my parents to go on day trips to zoos.
One of my friends at university told me about this website, and the whole concept honestly sounds perfect to me! I grew up mainly with dogs, when i was born my family already had a dog who unfortunately died when i was very young so i don't remember them. We then got another dog called Honey, she was a cross between a border collie and a german sheppard. We rescued her (which i 100% recommend and suggest to anyone thinking of getting another pet, adopt don't shop), she unfortunately passed when i was in college. She had a huge impact on me growing up and was partly the reason why i decided to persue a career in animal care and thus went to Lackham college (Wiltshire). Dogs mean the world to me, so much so that i have a paw print tattoo on my right forearm. I have also had two rabbits, and nine guinea pigs of which the last guinea pig sadly passed away at the start of this year. So unfortunately my family now has no pets, and i am not allowed pets at where i live here in Plymouth. So the fact that this website exists is incredible to me, i love all animals. No matter how big or small, all animal lives matter to me! (Except wasps, they're just a pain).
I appologise if the information above is a bit too much, i'm unsure what to write and probably ended up rambling!
I look forward to hearing from you, and thank you for considering me! I know how important pets are to our lives, they're part of the family! I know it's a huge risk allowing a complete stranger to look after them, but i ensure you that they're in the best hands with me.

This is our second booking with Tyler. He has again proven himself to be reliable and trustworthy, engaging with our cats, ensuring they are safe, happy and well fed while we were away. We would recommend him to anyone, he knows his stuff.
Tyler looked after our dog on three occasions and did a great job of keeping her entertained and happy. We got home to a tired and happy dog: always a good sign!
As previously mentioned above, i study animal behaviour and welfare at the university of Plymouth. Before this i studied at Lackham college for two years, of which i got direct experience with lots of animals. I am honestly comfortant with any species of animals, as i have experience with: Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, degus, rats, mice, fish, snakes, iguanas, geckos, bearded dragons, chickens, sugar gliders, frogs, amongst others i've probably forgotten to mention. I'm lucky enough that whilst in college i got two months work experience at Noah's Ark Zoo Farm (Bristol), of which i was fortunate enough to work closely with rhinos, giraffes, tapirs etc.
No matter what species your pet is, i am completely comfortable working with any species! So if you're lucky enough to own an iguana as well as a dog that needs looking after i would be more than happy to help! I would just need to discuss important details with you such as what their temperature should be set at etc. Feel free to explain any specific requests you may have, i'm an animal lover and my life evolves around animals. So any request that you may be worried about asking as it may come across "silly", then honestly do not worry with me! I will be more than happy to oblige to your requests.
