Hi 

im a 58 year old single woman who happens to be a veteran too. Non smoker.

I have had dogs my whole life mostly Irish Setters rescue dogs. Along the years there have been cats, Rabbits and guinea pigs.

I lost my darling 15 year old Labradoodle, Barney in Dec 24 and I'm not in a stable living situation to reinstate a new fur baby yet.
I'm in social housing with very noisy neighbours above which means I'm looking for situations that could allow me to get away during the school holidays as I'm in a shared house with a young family above me that are not considerate. I can't afford to keep Going away to escape my home during school breaks and I thought this could be a great way for me to have some time with a lovely pet (or several) and escape the noise and chaos that I have to experience when the children are off school. (Im hoping for a housing transfer this year.)
When I move I hope to find a rescue dog that will suit me. But until then I get to go on walks with my friends and family's dogs and sit for friends cats. 

I love doing this for them and want to offer more of my time to helping pets stay at home. My dog never needed to go into a kennel and I think it's hard enough when your humans aren't around but even harder to have none of your familiar surroundings to comfort your pets. 

I'm looking to help people out with this issue. Financial gain is not important to me it's more about the experience and bond and replacement of love, care and kindness while their human mummies and daddies are away.
I will stick rigidly to a pets routine. (My military background coming into play)

I don't have any ties. So can be there as much as needed whilst you are away, I'm respectful, flexible and trustworthy. 

in my other time I am Director of a CIC running community art projects from my studio base in Stonehouse.

I'm hoping to find people with pets that need company and love, as I'm not so mobile these days a requirement to do big hikes on the Moors is not something I can necessarily offer, much as I'd love to. However , a trip out in my Citroen Berlingo to the beach, park or Moors is something I will happily offer. I would be a great benefit to someone to occasionally be able to escape my chaotic and often depressing home situation for a spell now and again. That's priceless to me.
