I have been around dogs my entire life, and growing up with my two, Charlie and Max—both Shih Tzus—has shaped my passion for caring for animals. Shih Tzus have such unique personalities: affectionate, playful, sometimes a little stubborn, and always full of character. 

Caring for them has taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to read a dog’s body language, especially with small breeds who thrive on reassurance and routine. Alongside my own dogs, I’ve also looked after many friends’ and neighbours’ pets, from small breeds like Shih Tzus and Pugs to larger dogs with very different temperaments and energy levels.

I offer a variety of walks to suit each dog’s needs, from relaxed strolls for older or smaller dogs to longer, more energetic walks for lively breeds. 

I always adapt my approach based on the dog’s personality, behaviour, and comfort level, making sure shy or anxious dogs feel safe and confident, while energetic dogs get the exercise and stimulation they need. Owners can expect reliable, attentive care with a focus on both safety—using secure leads, monitoring behaviour, and following routines—and comfort, giving every dog attention, reassurance, and a happy, positive experience. 

My goal is to make every walk enjoyable and stress-free, truly making walks happier, one dog at a time.
