Hi, I'm Jasmine!

Hello, my name is Jasmine and I am recently graduated with a BA (Hons) Film and Screen Studies at Bath Spa University. I have been moved in Estover, Plymouth, after living in Bristol for eleven years. Since childhood, I became passionate towards animals especially cats and birds, and I am currently have a cat named Socks at home. Watching films and  TV, and going to cinema are one of my favourite hobbies. I am a big fan of Game of Thrones and Disney  films, and I have been doing film/video editing for the past three years.

I feel motivated by giving help and service to animals especially domestic pets. In past work and volunteer opportunities, I have been able to develop skills and passion in animal care. My family and I have several pets including cats, dogs and gerbils during my lifetime, so it keeps my passion in animals going.

The services I intended to offer are including feeding, cleaning the litter trays and give a lot of attention and love for your pets. The postcode areas in Plymouth I can cover are PL1 to PL7 but it depends on how to get there by public transport. If you live in Bristol, I can only cover Shirehampton, Westbury, Henbury and Lawrence Weston. However, I can do only over-night session(s) and more than two daily visits in Bristol. I would suggest you should arrange them in a month's time, so I could make my travel arrangements.

Specific Skills

<1 year of experience

I have two work experiences involved with animals while I was at two boarding schools. Firstly, I spent four days working at Birdland Park and Gardens in Bourton-on-the-Water in the Summer 2007. This was where I fed the birds especially penguins and pelicans, and cleaned the enclosures. In 28th June to 2nd July, I have worked in Bredon School Farm where I observed the animals and gained the ability to handle a herd of sheep. I volunteered to observe and take responsibility in looking after the Hatherop Castle School’s aviary for two years of my time at the school. The relevant qualifications I gained at Bredon School are Level 2 BTEC First Certificate in Countryside and Environment (Distinction) and Level 1 Diploma in Work-based and Land-based Operations (Pass). Animal care and working in an animal sector were included, as modules, in both courses.
