Hellooo :) My name is Emma and I am a 38 year old animal lover! I am the type of person who will stop and say hello to any and every animal on the street. There are 2 things in this world that make me so happy and they are singing and animals!

Cats have been in my life since I was a small girl. My nan always had cats and my parents bought me my first cat at 8 years old. I currently do not have any pets because of my nomadic lifestyle but when I am ready to settle, I will make sure to have a lot of animals near me!

The past few years, I have been travelling Europe and Egypt. While I was travelling, I spent many hours (and many pounds!) on feeding stray animals, getting them vet care, giving them medication and showing them the love that they deserve. I have also helped to rehome abused animals. I have a lot of photographic evidence to support my claims here which I am more than happy to show.

While I was living in Egypt, I was cat sitting for 2 lovely kitties, Anoush (the queen of the world) and Ramses who is a humble orange gentleman. Their owner went to Europe for the summer and I was trusted to look after her house and cats for 3 months while she went away. I loved those cats and I believe they loved me....again, I have plenty of photographic and video evidence and I have a reference for this. Similarly, I stayed in Istanbul last year and again I was trusted to look after a house and a cat for the 5-6 weeks that the owners were in Europe. I made an instant connection with their silver stripy boy, Fairuz and he often slept next to me.

I also did some dog rescue when living in Egypt. I paid, cared for and re-homed many dogs who were living on the streets, some of who were abused by the local children. Every morning, I would go to the beach and feed as many dogs as I could. I also swam in the sea with them and walked along the shore. I gained their trust which was really important to me and the time I spent with them was really magical and some of the best times of my life.

Besides pet care, I am also very interested in conservation and supporting environmental causes. I am an avid traveller and I will continue to rescue abused and stray animals as I go around the world. When I am more settled, I would like to have an animal shelter or to foster animals. I cannot stress enough on how much I love them. They are all precious babies to me!

Other things I like are; performing, exercise, meditation, teaching people to sing, nature, hiking, travelling, cakes and chocolate, trying new food, dancing, gardening and growing veg, songwriting and singing and drinking lots of tea!
