A little about me - I'm Jamie, 30, living in Southsea. Ive grown up with both cats and dogs and understand their wants and needs and how important they are to their owners. I currently have a crazy 9 year old cat and have raised her since she was a kitten. She's a princess that requires a constant lap to sit on, but she is my princess, and I could not be without her. Have grown up around dogs, including my mums quite timid jack russel and my dads larger, very bouncy springer spaniels. Im self-employed and work from home which means im very flexible, I am able to take your dog for nice long walk and I am available for house sitting, but, unfortuantely, as it is just myself and my cat in a flat I am not able to accomodate other pets into my own home.
As well as family pets I have been trusted to look after friends pets in the past and Im able to feed, walk, play and spend time with. You can trust your pet will get as much attention as I can give them.
The reason i joined Pawshake is because I love being around animals and due to working from home and being self-employed I thought I'd offer my services, especially as people may no longer be able to work from home. I dont have any restrictions to what kind of pet I am able to look after.
Dog walks will be around an hour, once or twice a day depending on the needs of the owner & pet. During walks for safety will keep any dog on the lead at all times. During home visits I will feed pets, clean all food/litter areas and can collect mail, water plants and check on anything else whilst you are away. As long as instructions are left I am happy to give pets any medical treatments they need during home visits. I have less experience with smaller animals but able to take full instruction on how to take care of them. During home stays I can stay overnight if required and make sure the house is safe while you are away.
