We know how important it is to leave your dog with people you can trust. We’ve had dogs for most of our lives and, over the 18 years we’ve been together, we’ve owned our own dogs, fostered dogs, and regularly looked after dogs for family and friends.

Our much-loved bulldog passed away in 2025 and we miss having little paws around the house which is why we’ve decided to open our doors to care for other people’s pets while they’re away.

I am at home four days a week. On the other three days, I work nearby from 9–5. We use a puppy cam to check in throughout the day.

We only take one dog at a time, so your pup gets lots of attention and a relaxed, one-on-one experience.

We love spending time outdoors, so your dog can join me pottering around the garden, and we’re very lucky to have some lovely walks close to home. There’s woodland directly behind the house, and the Old Tram Road is a favourite — it’s a flat, peaceful footpath that leads straight into Avenham Park. Along the way there are ponds and small streams, which are perfect for dogs who enjoy a paddle. At weekends, and if you’re comfortable with it, we’re also happy to take dogs out by car to explore different walks and enjoy a change of scenery.

Please let me know anything important about your dog ahead of time, including any health or behavioural considerations. For example, how they are with other dogs, any skin conditions, allergies, or medication they may need. This helps me make sure they’re comfortable and avoid any potential issues.
