Hi my name is Amy, animals are my passion and I have always wanted to work with them. I've been a trainer for a training company, i've trained dogs of all ages and worked with a wide range of breeds but specialised in large dog breeds so I'm not afraid of size or strength and I'll offer muzzle training. My walks will be exciting and engaging, I will provide some lovely photos to show the adventures we will be going on. I enjoy being outside in all weather's and will do anything to see a happy pup. Your dogs will be brought back happy, tired and clean as I will brush down and wipe any dirty paws before dropping them back off home.

I have been around animals from a baby and I’m very comfortable with different types of animals. I have grown up on a small holding with parents who wouldn’t say no to anyone who needed a home therefore any other pets you may have are not an issue to me. I have some work experience at a vets and at pets at home when I was in college for animal management.

I have worked at a kennel & cattery and then at a dog behaviour/training centre that specialised in large breeds and protection dog. In these jobs I learned a lot about dogs. In the kennels I had to learn how to introduce myself to new dogs all the time and how to read them so I could understand their needs and if it was safe to be in a small enclosed area with them.

At the training company I was involved in various sections but the main one being a dog trainer I would work with both the dog and the owner teaching the owner at the same time as training so they could go home and replicate it the best they could to continue training in their home. We had a wide range of different dogs with different issues. I’ve worked with puppies that wouldn’t walk on the lead to large dogs that wasn’t allowed off the lead around anyone but their family. With the dogs that stayed with us we would also continue their training in public when safe to do so to help desensitise them to things like bikes and cars. I would also get the dogs ready to go home or for being sold, this included helping to groom, getting all equipment and food that was need and presented the dog. Overall I believe I have a well rounded experience with dogs and want to gain further experience and knowledge, so I can continue to enjoy working with dogs, making your life easier and your dogs life more exciting.
