Growing up I had different pets in my house. I had a dachshund named Camilla, she lived for 17 years and I truly cosidered her my sister. I had a duck, many hamsters and birds. My parents have a dachsund and I frankly go to visit them just to spend the time with Rocco (the dog). Please don't tell them as I am sure they will be disappointed :)

In 2018, I met Gigia, my lovely cat. She is very territorial, so I am not allowed to have other animals in the house. I never thought to be a cat lover, but she totally won me over. She is 12 years old now, but she is very energetic. They say most cats sleep 20 hours a day, but mine only sleeps 4 hours a day. She spents the rest of the time exploriting the neighbourhood and playing with me. 

I work from home, so I am flexible to come over in the morning (before work), during my lunch break and in the evening (after work). I own a car too, in case it is needed. 

I have also looked after my friend's pets when they go on holidays. I normally would send a video of the pet every day, so that the pawrents would feel reassured their pet is doing fine.

Being around pets makes me happy. My motto is 'a cuddle a day keeps the doctor away!'
