As a child I was only allowed Guinea pigs, so I used to ask my neighbours if I could walk their dogs, GSDs no less! 

As a mum, me and my daughter had rescue dogs (GSDx, greyhound, lurcher) Guinea pigs, a rabbit we found in the street, two snakes, fish, mice, rats, gerbils, and degu. I also home boarded various small caged animals including a huge cage with three chinchillas. 

As a wife, we lived on a farm and had horses, goats, chickens, geese, ducks and a pig. We took the semi-feral farm cats with us when we left. 

I still have our two ponies, and we’ve currently got two rescue dogs (Sheprador and Rottweiler) another ex-farm cat, and still got a guinea pig. 

I’m very experienced with training dogs, and understanding rescue/senior dogs (mine all lived to 14yrs). 

I know far too much about guinea pigs having bred and exhibited at shows for years.
