Hi, I’m Anne. I’ve grown up around animals and have years of hands-on experience caring for them in both everyday and more complex situations.

I was raised with dachshunds and schnauzers — some with behavioural issues — so I’ve learned a lot about how to support dogs with different needs. My grandad worked as a dog walker, sitter and trainer for over 40 years, and I spent much of my childhood helping him. Those early experiences taught me how to build trust with dogs, understand their body language, and give them the time and attention they need.

Over the years, I’ve also done dog walking and pet care in Ireland, Singapore, and while volunteering at a rescue shelter in Palestine. I’ve looked after rescue dogs, pets with behavioural challenges, and those who just need a bit of extra company during the day.

Alongside this, I’ve spent time working on a family farm, which means I’m confident around a wide range of animals and used to caring for them in all weathers and routines.

I don’t drive myself, but my partner and I share a car and he’s available for emergency transport if ever needed. I also offer sitting from my own home — a cosy, calm flat where dogs can relax and be treated like part of the family.
