My name is Crystal, I am 39 years old and I am an animal lover through and through. I grew up with three British short-haired cats named Willow, Mickey and Charlie (looked after them as kittens up to adult cats), two terrapins, 27 budgerigars and a guinea pig. I am therefore very familiar with the needs of these different types of animals, with a special fondness for cats. 

 I have been pet sitting for over 9 years throughvarious onlinee sites, including Pawshake, but have looked after my animals for over 25 years, including my own pets. My petsitting roles have included looking after Habibi - a Persian cat, Benji the Turkish Angora, Pepe and Bella both British short-haired cats, Pippin - a Persian/British short-haired mix, Sushi - a Persian kitten, Sophie a tri-coat short-hair, Tinker and Rascal - two Bengal cats, Bobbie - a 16 old tabby and Flea and Fig two British short hairs.

I am a writer by trade and am very interested in environmental causes (sustainability, marine conservation, eco-friendly and the like) and enjoy supporting charitable causes and research centres. One of my most recent roles was a placement at the Galbokka sea turtle research and conservation centre in Sri Lanka in December 2022, where I looked after injured turtles and those in rehabilitation.

I would be delighted to provide regular pet and house-sitting services to owners in need.
