Hello! I am a 19-year-old girl from Cambridge and I am currently on a gap year after just completing my A Levels, before going to study physiotherapy at university next year.
I have another part-time job however I can be fairly flexible with hours and would be happy to take last minute bookings if needed for both dog walking and pet daycare.
I have had two dogs of my own in the past and am currently the owner of Daniel the Spaniel. I have always loved animals from a young age and have also had work experience with a dog groomer/walker where I learned more of the basics of how to care for dogs and gained general experience within the care of animals. I would love to gain more experience within this area and be able to spend time looking after and caring for other people's pets!
I am happy to drive within Cambridge to collect/drop off pets and can drive to take them to the best dog walking locations for 1 hour-long walks, as well as driving to stay at your house for as many hours as needed. I am responsible and committed and you can be sure your pets will be safe with me!
Feel free to ask any questions and I hope I can help look after your pets in the future!
We met Lucy on the meet & greet and Indy our aged flatcoat took to her immediately. She spent lots of time petting her and by the end of the walk, I felt really comfortable leaving our our dog and house in her hands. Lucy paid attention to all the details with regards to medication and Indy's habits - we left back-up notes too. She sent us photos and texts throughout our trip to reassure us which was great. We came home to a very happy dog and immaculate house. Lucy was a pleasure to deal with, we wouldn't hesitate to book her again.
Lucy looked after our cat and 2 border collies while we were abroad. She sent us regular pictures and videos from her walks and playtime with the dogs and when one of our dogs (she suffers from epilepsy) had a fit she managed very well the situation.
