Hello! I am Dylan and I am 23. I work in children's care and am currently focusing on fostering teenagers

I have had cats my whole life and love making new kitty friends! I cat sat while I was in uni and miss it dearly! While there I received compliments on the time I dedicated to the pets I looked after, and (most importantly!) the affection I gave them! 

I currently have 5 cats who I care for with my husband, two of whom are feral cats who we have adopted and look after. We have Gwen, Flora and Winnie inside, and Bud and Shadow are our outside babies! They are all neutered, vaccinated and chipped.

I pride myself on being good with animals of all natures. My own adopted cats were all semi feral when we took them in so were very nervous and we have worked with them to make them comfortable. They are now still timid but are very happy to make friends! My mother in law has a dog who has a very nervous disposition and is wary of anyone who isn't my mother in law, brother in law or husband, but over the course of a month I spent a lot of time being near her and making her comfortable in my presence. Now, 5 years on, whenever we visit she beelines for me and I appear to be her favourite! 

My husband's family have dogs and in the last 5 years of being with him, I have walked many of them and have found it very therapeutic- for me and the dogs! 

I am mostly looking look after pets in their own home due to the fact my own pets are nervous! 

I have experience house sitting and doing visits with animals in their own space- I used to have a small business doing this when I was a teenager! I am happy to stop by for at least an hour per visit, as well as water any plants, collect mail etc or whatever the home owner needs! With house sitting, I am completely willing to stay to keep animals company and clean of course, and I can stay up to two weeks if necessary!
