Hi all my name is Janet and my hubby is Archie. I am retired but hubby works, we love dogs and have never been without pets, we only have our little zuchon Dixie now as we said goodbye to both our big boys in two years and they were 13 and fifteen.

we have always looked after our families and friends dogs when they go away so we have plenty of experience with different breeds and sizes.

we live in a house With a secure locked garden, and we live by the sea so walk our dogs every day along the beach and we have plenty of open spaces as well. We also have use of a fenced in secure dog field that we hire where we can let our dogs off lead to run and play and be safe. 

my husband is the early morning walker and late evening and I am the day walker, our dogs get at least four walks a day, and I love to play catch with them, and love grooming and I am very affectionate with our dog Dixie loves hers cuddles.

we have decided to start a dog sitting service as I am now retired and have a lot of free time, I do have some limitations on what size of dogs we can have as I have a few mobility problems but walking isn't one of them, but I do find the older I am getting the less strength I have so we can't take large dogs I am afraid unless they are fully trained on a lead I can't manage them if they pull a lot.
we do require your pets are up to date with vaccinations and flea treatments, and we would need to see their vet papers, and are happy for you to see our dog papers. 

Apart from that we love all pets and will look after and care for your pets to a high standard, we can send daily photos if it will make you feel more relaxed being away from your pets, 

we only intend to have one dog at a time, but are happy to take two from the same family.

we let our pets sleep in the living room in their own beds, and they enjoy playing games especially ball games.
