I have always been an animal lover and now semi-retired so I am able to do a job I love, which is looking after animals. Primarily I am working for cats. I started catsitting in 2022 and now have a number of regular cats.

Visits are 45 minutes

I was brought up with cats, dogs, horses, plus birds, fish, tortoises and chickens plus lucky to have two horses in the family so I have learned early on how important it is to look after animals according to their needs.

I am very reliable and responsible and have a current CRB disclosure ( I am on the automatic annual repeat for this).

I drive and am a car owner so I can get to you easily. Please note however that unless you have booked with me previously I am no longer covering Lancing, west of the widewater.

Cat sitting - I have been working as a cat sitter for the past tthree years visiting, feeding, cuddling and playing according to the cat's (and owners) wishes. I have looked after cats for Egyptian rescues (for over ten years) as they have come to the UK before they have been placed in their new homes so I have experience of nervous cats and always let the cat choose when they are ready to come to me. In this role I have also had to follow special diets and medical needs.

Horse care - I previously owned two horses and so have 15 years of experience of looking after these plus I worked as a groom seasonally in the winter months for a number of years so I am very happy to take care of horses and ‘at home’ in the yard. Please note though that now I am in my mid 60s I no longer want to be mucking out long lines of stables. I can check fences, water, feed inc filling nets and muck out one or two boxes though.

I offer a pet sitting service in your own home or yard.

Also some availability for walking small or medium size dogs.
