Having lived with dogs for the whole of my childhood and adult life, I know how precious and important they are. I can especially understand how tricky it can be when deciding to leave them for a prolonged period. Due to working only one day per week, I am able to give time to the dogs in my care by taking them for walks, spending time with them in their homes or a combination of both. I enjoy walking and am very happy to go out for a good walk twice a day where required.I spend a large part of the day cuddling my two, so am more than happy to do the same for any dogs wanting a snuggle.

It is helpful if dogs are socialised and used to people and children as this makes dog walking more enjoyable for all involved. Dogs in my care will be kept on leads for walks, so providing an extendable lead is helpful. Walks are generally 30 minutes and I am usually able to be flexible with timings to suit you. If just visiting to let a pet out into the garden for a comfort break, I can then spend 30 mins or so with them playing and giving some tlc.

I am also very happy to care for cats in their homes whilst owners are away. Visiting to feed, let in/out and change litter trays is something I have experience of and am very happy to do. I will also spend time with the cats so they have the opportunity for some affection if they choose☺

Whilst cat sitting I can also water plants, pick up the mail etc. I am very happy to discuss any extra bits required when we first meet.

Having the opportunity to meet new dogs/cats and their families is very exciting and something I look forward to.
