I am a student currently studying maths with spanish at the university of Sheffield. I am a big animal fan and have had pets my whole life - I find their company enjoyable and they provide a sense of comfort that other people can't. I enjoy a more calm lifestyle than the majority of students, and prefer to spend my evenings watching films or reading books.
I am motivated to become a pet sitter/walker as I feel it would be able to fit well around my schedule as a student and would provide more flexible hours than other jobs would. I am passionate about animals and I know from experience how hard it can be to find someone reliable to feed your cat, or walk your dog. This is why I want to be able to offer that service to people lucky enough to have pets while I am studying.
I will be able to offer slightly less services than some, simply because I am living in a student house and thus cannot have peoples pets in my home for extended periods of time. However I am available to complete jobs such as; dog walking - with a record of where we went and what happened, dog sitting - looking after your dog in your home (and maybe mine) for a few hours to a day, and the feeding of pets (usually cats) - normally this consists of the pet being fed and loved twice a day. However as a student I do not have a car and thus transport is limited, I live in the S10 area near the universiry and cannot accept jobs more than an hours walk away as that is my main form of transportation.

Came back to a very happy cat! Bramble had obviously been well looked after, brushed and cared for - many thanks Martha for taking care of her!
Everything went well, easy to arrange meetings beforehand and a very happy kitty on our return.
