Animals have been a huge part of my life, spending times with them brings me so much happiness. Over the years, I've looked after dogs and cats for friends and family, so why not started to help pet sitting for the community in Southampton.
Whether it's going for a walks, playtime, feeding or simply offering cuddles and company, I make sure every pets feels safe, happy, confident and loved
Since my current flat doesn't allow pets, I truly enjoy the chance to spend time with animals through pet sitting, it's perfect way for me to help others while doing something I love and pets sitting become a wonderful way for me to stay connected to animals! For me pets sitting isn't just a job, it's a way to give pets the same love and care they'd receive from their own family.
I'm mainly available to help after 5pm everyday and anytime on weekend.

I recently moved to Southampton to start my Medicine degree, and I am very much missing my dogs (and cats and family) back at home. At home, I have two miniature dachshunds, Otto and Rudi, and three cats, Severin, Bill, and Kiki.
I would like to do more walking to explore Southampton, and I thought that combining it with meeting some new dogs would be perfect! I am experienced with walking my own dogs, who are both miniature dachshunds, as well as a pointer belonging to a family member. I don't have much experience with other dog breeds, but I am excited to gain experience and learn!
I am looking for pet owners just needing a bit of help taking their dog for a walk - I will  take your dog for a 30 minute to 1 hour walk in Southampton. I can't drive, so it would need to be a walk local to you, such as on Southampton common if that is suitable. I prefer dogs that are friendly, but am happy to work with anxious dogs if they will become friendly once they get used to me.&nbsp;

I raised Gigi, a British Shorthair, from age 2 until she passed peacefully at 16, and now care for Ngau Ngau, my 13-year-old rescue cat. I’ve also helped look after my sister’s four cats while she was away on business, so I’m confident with cats of different ages and personalities.

Hi! My name is Ida and I live in Southampton with my partner and our cat Elrond.

I've had cats all my life, which has made me a massive cat lover and taught me how to look after them so they stay happy and healthy. Although I'm new to Pawshake, I have been a cat sitter for about two years. Having looked after many different cats, I appreciate that every cat has its own lovely personality and individual needs. You can count on me to offer your cat lots of cuddles, but also respect their personal space!

I'm responsible, organised and reliable, and I'm happy to do overnight stays or visits once/twice a day.

It's important to me that your cat feels safe and happy. If you book me as your cat sitter, I will arrange to meet with you and your cat beforehand for free, give your cat fresh food and water daily, clean the bowls and litter trays, make lots of time for play and cuddles, and send you daily updates and photos.
I'm also happy to water the plants, collect the post and take the bins out if needed.
