Hi there, I'm Rachael.
Labradors are my love. Having been a single Mum to now grown up children, (& labradors, cats, bunnies & hens,) & recently retired, I'm renovating a little Sussex Victorian cottage. In the past few years I have looked after the homes & pets of friends & recently joined Pawshake to explore house sitting & pet care in a more professional capacity.
I'm a practical girl, happy in wellies out walking & pottering in the garden. I am experienced with labradors, including shy & nervous ones, working dogs, puppies & rescues (having cared for many from Labrador Rescue.) I offer my services by staying in your home, where I believe your pets are happiest when you are away. I'd be pleased to look after all happy breeds too plus your other small pets, hens, bunnies and your plants!
I'd treat your home responsibly, securely and with respect, leaving it clean & tidy. My fees reflect my experience & commitment to you & I shan't take on other work whilst caring for your dogs, so you'll always know where they are and who they are with. A warm welcome awaits your enquiry.

Rachael did a wonderful job. The new house sitters say that the house was like a new pin when they arrived and had an excellent handover from Rachael. She sent regular pictures of the dogs playing and even took one to a vet as we instructed. So we cannot fault her.
Another happy visit from Rachael, my dogs were delighted to see her again after a three month absence. I go away knowing the dogs will be superbly cared for and my house is just as I left it and a warm welcome home too.
