About Irene
My name is Irene, a 26 years old architectural assistant. I've moved to Portslade in 2023 and I absolutely love animals!
Growing up in a country house with 4 dogs and over 20 cats, I can't imagine my life without them. I have experience with puppies, small dogs, medium-sized dogs, cats and hamsters.
I like to organise a meet & greet to get to know the owner and pet beforehand. This can be whenever it suits you best :)
My walks vary from 20 to 30 minutes, offering up to 3 walks per day (depending on your dog's preferences). I also offer 1-hour walks. The walks are conducted around quite streets (with little to no cars) and in parks. I'm available mornings between 5 - 7 and in the evenings 17:30 - late. Happy to provide training whilst outside.
When it comes to daycare, my current schedule allows me to give your pet my undivided attention. I am currently working remotely, therefore my hours are flexible. If housestting, I am also happy to bring in the mail, water plants and do smaller jobs around the house.
Safety is my number one priority when it comes to looking after your pet. I like to get to know the pet and understand what works best for them. This includes how much exercise they get in per day, what's their typical reaction when interacting with other animals, if they are afraid of something... the more information, the better!
I am happy to leave my phone next to me to respond to your messages promptly. I can also send pictures throughout the day to keep you in the loop.

Irene was amazing. She came and met me and Bruno and she was very polite and she asked all the right questions about the house and what Bruno needs. During my time away we kept in touch and I received multiple updates about Bruno and how things were going at the house - she even watered the plants, fed the fish and brought in some deliveries! I would highly recommend Irene. I had previously been let down by a friend who was supposed to look after Bruno so it was such a relief to have Irene and know Bruno was cared for. I am already looking to book her again later this year :)
Henry loved his time with Irene! It was a very hot day, and Irene did all she could to keep Henry cool and happy. She spent a lot of time with Henry and I came home to a very happy dog with a Waggy tail! We look forward to seeing Irene again soon 😃
