I offer dog walking, pet sitting/visiting, doggy day care, boarding and horse care. I have my own public liability insurance, my own boarding and day care licence. I am a qualified Pet First Aider.
1 hour duration walks unless instructed otherwise
group or individual walks offered depending on the dog
a variety of walks depending on weather and location i.e woodland, fields, enclosed parks
complimentary photo updates of your pooches to brighten up your day!(unless instructed otherwise)
no restricted time of day to walk your dog. It's all down to the client
I try and accomodate as much as possible to my client
If in groups, I limit to around 3 dogs per walk as I prefer to focus more on the dogs on a 1 to 1 level
I like to build trust by not bringing any toys on a walk so dogs can focus more on me than a tennis ball. This is to build recognition of my voice for recalls if allowed off lead.
Pop in visits for any pet(dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, rats etc)
I have a basic and an enhanced DBS check
Duration is instructed by client
I offer feeding and walking(dogs) if desired
some animals cope better in their own environment which is why I offer this
up to 10 hours of pet sitting
visiting can range from a little as 15 minutes
added home security for the clients i.e opening/shutting blinds etc
any other requirements offered i.e watering plants
Doggy Day Care:
Client's dogs come to my home for the day
Have roam of the downstairs. This includes hallway, living room, dining room, kitchen and garden
Plenty of dog toys, treat and beds to choose from. A home away from home environment
Your dog isn't left unattended for longer than 3 hours.
If your dog has seperation anxiety, I would accomodate to the dog as much as I can by not being booked up while they are in my care so I can dedicate my time and energy into them.
Full time love and cuddles from yours truly
Play mentality games to help with their stimulation if they're lively dogs or get bored easily. A great way to tire dogs out.
Full time interaction with myself as I am self employed.
Feeding, medication or any requirements can be done
Sometimes take dogs to dog friendly cafe's or pet shops for something different than walks in a park.
24 hour care. Overnight stay in my home
I have a couple of crates and dog beds if clients prefer for their dog to be in crates. Otherwise dogs have the freedom of the whole downstairs to choose where to sleep.
Two walks a day are offered while in my care unless instructed otherwise.
Home away from home holiday environment for your pooch
Enclosed fenced off garden with a secure side gate with two lock bolts on.
Myself and my partner whom I've been with for 5 years. He has also grown up with dogs
No smoking household
Front and back door always locked every night and during the day if I am out
Not allowed upstairs
Not allowed on sofas
Not allowed hooman food while we hoomans are eating
If using doggy day care or boarding service, your dog would need to be okay with cats(I have one cat)
I ask to meet my clients and their dogs beforehand as I currently have a Guide Dog puppy and would need to make sure that client's dogs are okay with him.
I offer shampoo wash if a dog has rolled in something that they shouldn't of. I would always contact client before I'd go ahead. 100% previous clients have been happy with this.

I am a 'Puppy Walker' for the Guide dogs association. A puppy walker is being given a puppy from 7 weeks old and training them before they go off to big school at around 14 months old. A puppy walker is a full time volunteer role so the puppies are with you 24/7. This means that I am at home all day everyday tending to my puppy. I have taught them all the basic training as well as training specific requirements from Guide dogs. My home has been vetted by Guide Dogs and approve that my home is a loving, safe environment for a dog.
I have the patience in handling troubled, challenging dogs.
I dog sat a rescue dog that had a terrible past life and had become an antisocial dog. She would bark at every stranger except myself and her family. I know that I have a calming presence towards animals and give positive reinforcement when training them. I know how to behave around excitable dogs and I'm always up for a challenge. I know that I always want to be around dogs(and cats). So I'd always love to care for any animal there is!
Great sitter, would highly recommend. Thanks again!
Marisa has a wonderful knowledge and understanding of dogs, she is also very polite, punctual and has excellent communication skills. We felt that our dogs were left in capable hands.
Being a Puppy walker has taught me the dog behaviour skills that I’d expect to see and know what to do in certain situations.
I believe that I have a natural instinct when it comes to doggy situations and always use positive reinforcement. For example I am currently house sitting a Jack Russell x shih tzu that despises other dogs. He would lunge and bark towards other dogs. I have started a positive mindful game of him focusing on me(with treats) while unknown dogs walk past. I have been told by dog walkers that they are impressed seeing the same dog being uninterested dogs passing while I’m walking him.
I understand dogs on their level. I tend to make frozen doggy bones so if a client’s dog needs constant stimulation, this is a great tool to use as they find it difficult getting out the frozen kibble.
In order for me to do house sitting, I have a basic and an enhanced DBS check to show that I am a reliable dog walker
