Hi, I’m Paula.
I’ve been house and pet sitting for the past five years. I started off looking after people's pets in exchange for accommodation. I then worked for a company in 2020 until that closed in 2022. As I had many bookings and repeat clients, I decided to start my own business.
Over the past 5 years I have sat for many people across the region, and have looked after various pets including dogs of various sizes and ages, cats, goats, chickens rats, fish and even a gecko!
The service I offer is, I stay at you home whilst you're away. I have found owners find this is far less stressful for their pets. They don’t have to go into strange new surroundings with other animals they may not get on with. I have done day sits and dog walks but these tend to be local. I have to add on extra due to costs if further afield.
I will be adding a Dog first aid course to my resume shortly. I am DBS checked and have liability insurance as part of my business. I can medicate animals via tablet or injection.
As part of my business, my daughter (14) does accompany me on all house sits. She is home schooled and can do this at any location, so is unaffected by where she stays. She likes all animals, especially cats and small dogs. These seem to really take to her.
I am a non smoker, as is our home. Both my daughter and myself are active and healthy, so your pet can be sure of nice long walks ( if they care to ), plenty of attention and playtime and you can be sure that your home will be in safe hands until you return.
As you can see from my availability I am a very busy pet sitter. I have many repeat clients. I charge £40 for up to two dogs £50 for up to four, more is negotiable.
I am happy to do dog walking and drop ins, in the local area.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
