My experience with dogs has been vast since childhood within my family I have grown up with a Labrador/Collie cross, 3 Irish wolfhounds and a Welsh Springer Spaniel all of which I have looked after when needed, even helping out with training too.

Recently boarded a 9 year old Jack Russell too who had two walks a day and was well looked after.

We have a fenced garden and two or three parks nearby for on-lead walks so plenty of options for exercise, even for elderly dogs who may not be as spritely as they once were.

I am aware that some dogs may have separation anxiety and when I am at work during the day (Monday to Friday) my wife and/or parents in law are home for company and letting out for toilet breaks etc… and I can provide walks in the morning before work and then after work to ensure exercise requirements are well met (a tired dog is a happy dog).

We have two children who are 6 & 9 and they are fully aware of how they should behave around dogs.
