I'm a licensed dog boarder. This means that I follow written procedures to ensure the health, safety and welfare of your dog. I have a fire safety plan, a pet first aid kit, and adequate space to isolate dogs in case of infectious illness. It also means that I can't take more than 2 dogs at present, or puppies under 6 months of age. Male dogs must be neutered, females not in heat or due to come into heat during their stay. All dogs must be vaccinated at least 4 weeks prior to their stay, and I will need to see their vaccination certificates. Unlicensed dog boarding is illegal.
I am at home for most of the day. I enjoy walking dogs and have 3 local parks to choose from. I have a 3-bedroom house with a small enclosed rear garden. Dog boarding is my main occupation, and I am continually working to improve the service that I offer. I do my best to help your dog feel at home. I generally walk dogs soon after arrival, if practical, to help them burn off some energy and to get used to me. They have their own bedding, lots of cuddles, and often share in the veg that we cook if you allow it, as well as eating their own food that you bring for them. Most dogs are happy here and enjoy their stay, though they are always delighted to see their owners when they get back :-)

archie is only 7 months old and still in his puppy years, charlotte was able to understand his puppy behaviours and meet his individual needs for extra love patients and care. Thanks Charlotte.
Charlie was very happy with Charlotte and I was very happy with his care. I would recommend Charlotte to anyone who required a Doggy minder.
I have always loved dogs but wasn't able to have one of my own until 2 years ago. I never realised how much a member of the family they really are! Your dog will get lots of cuddles and attention. I can walk him or her up to 3 times a day on request. I am happy to play tug o war or fetch if your dog brings his toys. He or she will be cared for as if they were my own dog. I have experience of walking a large, sometimes stubborn dog and keeping her under control. At the other end of the scale I have experience looking after my friend's chihuahuas and maltese terriers, both in my home and hers.
I am licensed to board up to 2 dogs. If you require your dog to be the only one here, please would you consider paying the fee for a second dog, especially during peak time, as otherwise I may lose earnings and when I board a dog it is my main source of income. Thank you for understanding.
