Hello, my name is Kathy and I live in Surbiton. I work part-time as a freelance consultant and business trainer in central London and with that comes flexibility to offer services in pet sitting and walking. I’ve always loved animals and grew up with dogs and gerbils! When I had my own house, I had cats, but I currently live in a flat so can’t have my own pets.

I understand how important our furry friends are to us and how they are much-loved members of the family. I will look after your pet exactly how you want them to be looked after, whether that be for home visits, walks, overnight stays or whatever you are looking for. 

If your pet has special requirements I can help with that too. For example administering medication or extra night-time care, looking after youngsters, elderly or nervous pets. Regular updates, photos and videos are of course included. 

I volunteer at an animal rescue centre near Horsham where they mainly care for and rehome dogs. (These are photos where I'm holding leads for 4 or 5 dogs!) It’s kennel-free which means the dogs are free to run and play in the garden and fields. We get all sorts of sizes, breeds, ages and temperaments of dogs. This requires a level of confidence to handle a variety of situations. I love it there. I get to give the dogs the 3 Fs as I call it – food, fuss and fun! 

Several years ago I volunteered regularly at a wildlife hospital in Wallington, where I helped care for all sorts of British wildlife from hedgehogs and squirrels to foxes and swans. Also a great experience.

In November 2023 my DBS check came back clear.

In January 2024 I gained a dog first aid qualification. (In the past I've been human first aid qualified.)
