Hi there,
I'm Irene, working from home full time (36h / week) as a data analytics specialist for jobchannel ag (Swiss-based online job searching platform company) and I live in the centre of Epsom (on The Parade near Ashley Centre). I was born in Switzerland but I have been living in England since 2007 (moved to Epsom in 2018). I am currently the owner of 2 cats (Blaxy and Floofs) which were born and raised at home and which I love to bits. Growing up I was always a bird girl and had budgies, and later canaries for as long as I can remember. I was introduced to the joy of living with cats in 2013 and although (small) birds will always be my favourite animals, I currently prefer cats as pets, this is because birds are pretty much impossible to cuddle!

I would love to look after your pets while you're away or unable to look after them for whatever reason. I'd also be happy to water plants while I'm pet sitting, just let me know. I have a full-time 9-5 job so feeding and playtime visits would is limited to mornings or evenings during the week (and/or a lunch time visit if required), more flexible on weekends. For the evening I usually do a 20-30 min visit where I feed your pet(s), empty litter boxes (and whatever else is needed) followed by some play and/or cuddle or brushing time - depending on the mood of the pet(s). If there's a morning visit as well, they are more likely to be shorter visits. With 2 visits per day, I'm also happy to open/close blinds or curtains and switch off/on lights respectively.

If you're away for more than 4 days and I know where to find replacement bag(s) then I'll empty the rubbish on my last visit before your return.
Active as a pet sitter on Pawshake since July 2019, I have been looking after more than 30 different cats, 1 budgie, 1 guinea pig, fish, 2 bunnies, and 3 chickens. Please have a look at the reviews from my happy clients so far. In my youth, I have been pet (and plant) sitting for neighbours and friends. Additionally, as a teenager, I spent some time volunteering at the Swiss equivalent of the RSPB where I helped looking after injured wild birds.

Note that I rely on my electric bike (or sometimes public transport) to get to your place. I will need a safe place to store it at your place (or you need to be within short walking distance of me).

I focus on Epsom, Epsom Downs and Ashtead, but I'm considering anything up to 30min cycling distance, that is about 3 mile radius from the centre of Epsom (Epsom, Epsom Downs, Ashtead, Stoneleigh, Ewell, Tadworth).
