I am a part-time Teaching Assistant who lives at the top of Sutton. There are many parks around and lots of pets that live on my road and run aound in the communal garden. I have taken care of friends and families pets when they have gone away and want to give comfort and security to other pet owners that their pets will be well looked after whilst they are away. I am about to become a foster carer so am looking for work that allows me to help others while fitting around my role as a foster carer. This means that I am available for daily visits and house sitting on a short term basis (a couple of days at a time) I have a lot of experience with cats, rabbits and small animals and a little experience with dogs that belong to friends and families. I have never had a dog myself but adored my nan's dogs as a child and learnt alot about how to interact with dogs. I have previously dog sat whilst also looking after my cousins new born.
I have had cats since 2015. I have also previously had rabbits and hamsters. There was a 3 year period where I rented a flat that didn't allow pets and I greatly missed having a furry companion. I currently have 2 cats of my own who I adore and who are fully vaccinated and regularly treated with flea and worm medication. I understand how difficult it can be to go away when you have pets and ensuring they are well taken care of. I try to ensure your pet's routine is as uninterrupted as possible and give them the attention they need to keep them happy while their favourite human is away. I have looked after family and friends pets while they have been away ensuring the pets are fed, played with and kept happy and healthy. I understand that our pets are not just animals but are members of our families and will treat them as such while I care for them.
