I have two cats (one male - Star (Dad), the other female - Comet (Daughter) who I have had sice 2014, I also have a dog called Ralph. He is a very energetic 6 year old Staffordshire Bull Cross who requires good walks and creative play to occupy his busy little self. 

At home my garden is gated and fenced to ensure my Ralph's safety, as I live right off a very busy main road. Each time he goes out into the garden, I make sure to check the gates are closed properly. 

I make sure there is nothing available to him outside that could potentially cause him any harm (this means yard brushes and other things are stored away properly, and should I find anything on the floor, it is swept up and disposed of in a timely manner so as to avoid any potential injuries).

I regularly take care of (walk/play/toilet/bathe) my best friends dog called Bruce. Bruce is a 2 year old XL Bully, so requires someone to take care of him who knows their way around the Breed Specific Law's to ensure that all walks out are safe for him by wearing appropriate things such as; a strong collar, lead and his muzzle (this keeps him safe from any allegations of harm caused - though I've gotten the pleasure of getting to know him very well and he really is just a big cuddly boy!).
