Hi, my name is Tapan, I'm an AI Researcher at the University fo Bath and I’ve been a passionate animal lover for as long as I can remember. My journey with pets began when I was just five years old—my dad brought home two stray dogs, and they quickly became the best part of my life. Since then, pets have always been an integral part of my world, teaching me love, loyalty, and compassion.

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of raising and caring for several dogs. Each one left an unforgettable mark on my life. One of the most special was my boxer, a spirited little companion who brought immense joy to my days. Later, I adopted a Doberman, Caesar, who became my heart and soul. His playful, mischievous nature taught me patience and the art of training. In fact, it was Caesar who inspired me to become a dog trainer, a role I’ve proudly held for over seven years now.

Life changes meant I had to leave Caesar with my family during a job shift, creating a void in my life that only the love and company of pets could fill. After being away from my love for 4 years , Jan 2024 my baby left me on his birthday and I've never recovered from that. After nearly a year I'm back with that love to offer and for me to fill that void even though it's temporary (trust me I will not kidnap your pet). I was looking to help some friends dogsit and that’s when I discovered Pawshake—a perfect opportunity to care for and connect with amazing animals while helping fellow pet parents.
