Hello, my name is Katie and i founded P.A.W.S. I live with my daughter who is 4 and my partner (Rhys) who recently joined the P.A.W.S team! I went into dog walking/sitting when I realised I should start earning for my family but I didn't want to have to give up time with my daughter. Therefore I decided to do this not only because I work for myself but I love animals and have experience with them. Not only personal experience. I have owned dogs since I was 14 but I grew up around them since before I popped out. When at school my dream was an RSPCA officer and unfortunately that didn't happen but I wouldn't change it over the experiences you get as a dog walker and the connections you gain. 

Rhys has experience with pets and we currently own a dog and cat together. He loves animals and will care for them as his own. 

I've owned animals from dogs and cats to rabbits and rats!

My experience: 
Experience in an actual job started since I did work experience at school, I found myself a position at a dog boarding kennels where I walked, fed, entertained etc then it stuck as a voluntary position until they had no more work for me.

Then I've volunteered at a horse stables where I groomed, fed and let horses and donkeys into their field and many other important jobs.

I also volunteered at a doggy day care where I walked and entertained the dogs until pick up time.

I have most recently volunteered with a dog trainer to get some hands on experience and I watched and learnt techniques both as the teacher and how to train dogs and how they think. It was refreshing and helped with my course.

I'm currently doing an online course for animal care.

I offer dog walking, homevists and now pet sitting.
