I am 55, Since 2014 I have worked for house sitting agencies in the uk, and independantly house sat in the uk and europe. I travel anywhere. 

I currently work for 2 uk house sitting agencies and I have my own pet sitters insurance to work independently. If you book me through pawshake you have this as added security aswell as thier guarentee.

Services - 

----  Bespoke house sitting ----

I stay within your property for at least 20 hours a day, the usual arrangement is that I have a maximum of 4 hours a day out of the property before dark, but I'm happy to do whatever you require, from shorter times out to full days out with your pets. 

I can supervise your work people, staff and handle deliveries. Your home will be kept secure, as clean and tidy as you left it, pets lovingly cared for, instructions followed, and all things truly respected. 

Instructions will be followed precisely. I will send you updates via whichever means and frequency you require.  eg Whatsapp, email, phone calls, video chat or postcard! 

If your pet needs to be driven to a vet or grooming visits. I have a full clean drivers licence, I own a van with space for a secured travel crate, or i am happy to drive your car. 

--- Pet feeding / stay and play / Home check --

Can be daily or twice daily, i feed and clean up for your pet(s). I stay and play for 20 mins, do a home security check, mail collection, water plants. I give the same attention to detail as i provide during a house sit. This service can also include a 20 mins dog walk for an additional fee of £5 

---- Introduction visit ----

I like to visit homes first to discuss the sit and meet your pets, I am also happy to meet via video call.

Free if local, or at cost of my travel if further away. 

-----   RATES  ----- 

Apply for up to two cats, or one dog and one cat, or 4 caged pets. Please contact me if you have more pets. 

I charge per day. Day sits are a 1 day rate. I usually leave at 9 am on the last day of the sit. If you need my departure time to be later than 9 am on the last day I charge for a half day, if it's later than 2pm it's an additional day rate.

Xmas / New year rates - 24th 25th 26th, 31st December & 1st of January are charged at double rate.

Travel expenses - I am happy to travel anywhere. My travel expense charge for each sit is 50p per mile round trip. Or at cost if I travel by public transport.

A bit more about me - 

I have a genuine affinity with animals, and have looked after many elderly cats and dogs with special needs and medical conditions. I am excellent at adminstering medicines to even the most stubborn pets without upsetting them. Before becoming a house sitter for many years i cared for pets and homes belonging to friends, owned cats and bred my own chickens. Since then i have cared for many homes large and small, from 24 rescue cats, to one tiny dog. I looked after a rodent menagerie, a large exotic fish collection, have got to know the characters of many dogs, and dealt with several emergencys situations with ease. I have regular clients with pets who are nervous animals and have medical conditions. 

I can offer you discretion and confidentiality and believe that privacy and respect is of the utmost importance when caring for clients home and loved ones. Having lived in and cared for several types of property from houseboats to manor houses, bedsits to mansions, rural woodlands and city skyscrapers, i am adaptable and open minded. My mother was a live in house keeper, i grew up living within other peoples homes, so the values of care, privacy, and respect, are second nature to me. When I'm not house sitting i enjoy travelling, live music, being creative and upcycling furniture.
