🐾 About Me

I'm Sadie—an animal lover based in the Brighton & Hove area. I've had cats most of my life and have also provided dog walking and in-home dog sitting (for up to two weeks at a time) for friends and family over the years. I absolutely adore animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments—and caring for them brings me genuine joy.

Although I don't currently have pets of my own due to financial constraints, I’m excited to offer my time, care, and attention to yours. Pet sitting is a way for me to stay connected to the animal world and to support pet owners by giving their beloved companions the attention and respect they deserve.

As someone who works mostly from home, I’m flexible and able to provide plenty of company and supervision throughout the day. If I'm going to be working at a laptop, why not do it alongside a furry companion?

💖 My Approach

I care for pets the way I care for people—with empathy, boundaries, and genuine attention. I’m calm, clean, and respectful of people's homes and the needs of their pets. While I haven't had a dog of my own, I’m confident in setting clear boundaries, reading animal body language, and adapting to different personalities and energy levels.

In addition to practical experience, I also take a real interest in wildlife and animal welfare, and I regularly educate myself on how to care for animals and support biodiversity.

I always arrange a pre-meet to ensure we’re the right fit.

I follow instructions thoroughly and carefully (unless something goes against my ethics or safety protocols).

I always gather emergency contact details, including vet details, before bookings begin.
