I am Sue and have been pet sitting since with my partner, Teresa, since 2012 when we gave up office jobs to combine housesitting with travel. Since then we have carried out around 300 successful housesits, both in the UK and abroad. Our first housesit was in Toronto, Canada when we looked after a Maine Coon Cat for five months. Since then we haven't looked back. We have enjoyed all of our housesitting experiences immensely and continue to do so. These days we mainly housesit in the Brighton and Hove area. We are passionate about animals and have found housesitting to be extremely rewarding. When we start a housesit with a new pet, we ensure that we spend lots of time bonding with the dog or cat, so that they feel comfortable with us as soon as possible.

Our varied experiences means that we have developed our housesitting skills over the years and are rescourceful, responsible and reliable housesitters. We have cared for all types of pets from kittens to senior dogs as well as pets with behavourial problems and those that require medication. 

We mainly work location independently and consequently we have plenty of time to give your pets lots of attention and loving care while you are away. We can spend anything from a couple of nights to several weeks in your home caring for your pet so that they don’t have to be sent to a kennel or cattery. This means that their usual routine isn’t interrupted and they can feel secure and happy in their own home. 

Housesitting includes spending the night in your home so that we can be present for your pet whenever they need us. Pet care includes feeding your pet, emptying litter trays, dog walking, playtime and lots of cuddles! We are happy to take your dog out for as many walks and for as long as required. We send regular updates and photographs, so you can be secure in the knowledge that your pet is relaxed and happy.   

As well as caring for your pet, we keep your home secure, water your plants and collect your mail while you are away. Security is of the utmost importance to us and we are highly conscientious about every aspect of taking care of a property that we are staying in, ensuring that the property is kept secure by day and night. We are unobtrusive and respectful. Additionally, we keep your home in a clean and tidy condition for your return.
