Hello! My name is Amy and I am an animal lover through-and-through. I currently have 3 pet cats, all of varying ages, from an OAP 14 year old, to a rescue kitten. I also have a beautiful dog, who we rescued as a puppy, and is now 8 and a half.
I also have experience caring for more varied pets, specifically exotic aquatic animals, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, and fish. I love all animals equally and don't think its fair that you have to choose between being a dog or cat person!
In addition to this informal experience, I have also volunteered in an animal rescue centre, and spent time work-shadowing a vet nurse, where I even got to help out in the operation theatre!
I am also currently studying for my Zoology degree, to help deepen my understandings of animal biology and behaviour.
The main services I offer are:
- Dog Walking
- Feed Visits (including 'stay and play')
- Small animal Visits
- If I am visiting pets in your home, I will pick up post, draw curtains at night, and water plants if needed, at no extra cost.
Overall, I feel as though I could cope with whatever even the most unpredictable pet could throw at me, and enjoy meeting all kinds of new animals and their individual personalities.
I would feel very lucky to be chosen to look after other people's pets, and give them 100% of my care and attention. Thank you for considering me!
