Jenevieve

Hi there! My name is Jenevieve and I am a university student studying illustration.
Being a student, I am always busy and often away from home. When I am home, I find it is difficult to find part-time work to keep me going over long breaks.
The most perfect kind of work for me would always involve animals in some way. I partially grew up in South Africa, surrounded by rich wildlife as well as domestic animals, and since, have always found myself with many pets of my own, and many more in the homes of those around me.
I currently have a 17 year old cat (Belle) - who means the absolute world to me, as I do to her - and two gerbils. I have had my cat since I was 8, and since she was 4. We have grown up together and I couldn't imagine life without her around. I also grew up with a rescue border collie called Sunny, whom we tragically lost in the summer of 2021. He was my best friend in the world. I took him everywhere I could, cherished every walk I ever went on with him, and made sure he lived the best life he ever could have.
I have done casual pet-sitting and dog walking for family & friends many, many times over the years. I am the first person people would come to for their pets needs. I would love to continue to do so while I have the time and need to work!
I am happy to do long (or short) dog walks, anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. I am happy to do 2 walks per day, eg. morning and evening, or one long walk in the day.
In daycare, I can dedicate 100% of my time to the animal, as I will be on a break from university with no other commitments. I live in a 3-person household (all animal lovers) with a cat (who will stay out of the way of another animal in the house). We have spare dog beds and toys and treats etc. so there will be somewhere to sleep and enrichment available!
I have experience in administering oral medications to dogs.
