Megan's furry clients.
Hi, I'm Megan!
I know first hand how stressful it can be to leave your pets in someone elses care, so I aim to make you and your pets as comfortable as possible while you are away. I will send daily updates including pictures and videos, and take care your pets as if they were my own. I am happy to administer medicines and tailor visits to each individual pet's needs.
A bit about me: I have just completed a Zoology BSc degree, and have a specific interst in animal behaviour and welfare, with an aim to work in animal rescue and behavioural rehabilitation in the future. I've always loved animals (unfortunately unlike the rest of my family!) and finally got my first pets, two goldfish named Fred and Sam, when I was 9 years old. I loved those fish with all my heart, and since then I've adopted guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters.
The current members of my four-legged family are Zazu and Flicker, my playful pair of guinea pigs; Ned my grumpy dwarf hamster; and Doc my fluffy little Syrian hamster. My own pets have given me a lot of experience in small animals, but I've also built up a lot of experience in dog and cat care over 5 years of pet sitting / dog walking. In addition volunteer on a weekly basis at a dog rescue which has given me a lot of experience with many different dog breeds and temperaments. I am currently looking to further my education on animals through a number of short courses, and hope to study veterinary nursing in the near future.
Please note I can currently only cover Twickenham, St Margarets, Richmond, Strawberry Hill and Teddington. I keep my calendar updated to show my availability.
