Hello there,

my name is Joe Holtaway, 39, a musician and working a few other roles; a community garden co-ordinator ,a chiildren's worker and a minfulness teacher. My self and Isabel have a cat, the lovely Bella, and I learned about Paw Shake through our cat sitter, had a good experience and thought, mmm that would nice to do to.  

I grew up on a farm with cats and dogs (and horses and goats!) and love all animals. I understand what it means to have someone trustworthy and calm to look after your pet. I also know all pets are different, with different needs and I would be attentive to those.

I have undertaken cat and dog sitting / walking previously for a variety of c's and d's. I also understand the importance of becoming friends with the animal by respecting their space and allowing them to come to me, not being to forthcoming. I can administer medication when left with instructions and continue any training you are currently doing with your pet :) I am not trained specifically for this but, again, with years of experience with pets I know how important consistency is. I'm happy to stay for an hour with your pet(s) and can offer more if required.

If dog walking I would generally take a walk of about 40 minutes with the remaining 20 for arriving back, feeding and leaving. Whatever your usual routes for these walks i'll take.

I have listed I am happy for longer visits if you feel your pet needs more attention, I would treat your home with the upmost repect and am happy to be on hand for any simple day to day tasks (mail, plants) that are needed.

Please advise on security, keys, locks that you would like me yo be aware of.

I love receiving pictures and updates if we are ever away and am happy to send you pictures of a platform of your choice or call you whatever is easiest. 

I'm flexible with availablility, always worth asking and i'll see if I can fit it in to my days. Evenings and Nights also can work.
