Hey! I’m Ashley, a 28 year old living in Newcastle upon Tyne.

I’m a caring, reliable animal lover and I understand how important it is to feel confident about who is looking after your pet. I treat every pet like family. I follow any/all instructions given by you, and give endless affection, cuddles and attention to your pets, if this is what they like. However, if your pet would be more comfortable with sitting on the opposite side of the room in quiet, then I will sit in the silence with them and offer peaceful, no-pressure company.

I’ve had pets almost my whole life. I currently have two beautiful cats, and throughout my life have had 5 cats, 1 dog and 3 hamsters. Each pet has had different routines, quirks and needs and I tailor my care as such.

I have previous experience dog sitting a sweet girl overnight for several days at a time, where I was responsible for feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and maintaining familiar routines to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. She was very reactive when on walks and did not like to be touched, so I respected this by ensuring nobody approached her and asked those who did not to pet her.

I have also taken care of many of my friends and families pets while they have been away, sometimes for days at a time. This included providing medication and cleansing an allergy-prone dog's paws and putting prescribed cream on daily.

I’m patient, attentive, and calm, and I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

My motivation for being a pet sitter comes from a genuine love of animals and providing owners with peace of mind. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritise their comfort, safety, and happiness, and I feel so much joy when around pets.
