Hi, I'm Joel!
At this time we can only offer evenings and week ends dog sitting as we are both working during the day.
Hello , we recently lost our beloved Weimaraner and even though we are not ready to get another dog yet, we are missing the company of a 4 legged friend. We live in a cosy Victorian cottage with a closed garden. We still have the dog flap which allows ins and outs as wanted. There is only the 2 of us in the house, no children or other animal. Your dog will be welcomed with lots of cuddles and praise. We have experience with big dogs, our Weimaraner was extremely well behaved. We surprised all our friends, when at feeding time, we would put the food bowl on the floor and she would sit and wait for the 'Eat' command. Then, in the middle of her meal, the 'Wait' command would make her stop eating and sit.
We live near the river Thames where we can do long walks and is free of cars, our Weimaraner used to love coming with us for a bicycle ride along the river. We were lucky that the 'Here' command would make her come back straight to us regardless of any distractions.
We are very good at making a dog understand what we want. In our house , there is only back or white , consistency and patience is the key to a succesfull Dog/Human relationship. Lots of praise and cuddles when good, ignorance when not so good.At this time we can only offer evenings and week ends dog sitting as we are both working during the day.
