Hello. My name is Stacey and I'm a big lover of animals, I have spent most of my childhood with cats, teenage years volunteering with horses and a small portion of my later life with dogs. As I am sure a lot of you can relate to, since I know we are all animal lovers here. I have three cats, (I have a soft spot for "difficult" animals and often want to adopt older or "broken" i.e missing a leg, deaf, blind etc.) and one who is generally "unkind". I have looked after a number of animals including a skittish stray cat whom needed extra care to feel safe, a deaf white cat who needs special care when he is outside, a cat with a heart condition and needed oral medicine, a horse who had arthritis and needed medical care and proper strength training.

I really want to do this to help people feel safe and secure about their animals while they are away. So that people can live their lives without reducing the animals comfort levels by moving them into a kennel instead of keeping them at their homes, in familiar settings.

While I may not be a professional in any sense of the word, I can assure you that I have the knowledge that every animal is different, has different needs and shows that in different ways. Over the years I have gotten better and better at learning to read new animals, I can't lie I will need an adjustment period but that depends on how open the animal is to me, not the other way around.

As someone who has spent time looking after animals big and small, I can assure you that I am quite capable to take on the needs and routine your animal follows. Feeding times, walks, cuddles and pets as well as playing and anything else that your animal specifically needs, which of course I encourage you to talk about beforehand so we can discuss the best care for your tiny fur baby.

I treat other peoples animals in the same way I treat mine.
