About Cassie
Hello, I’m Cassie!
My love for animals started when I was young and having several pets of my own. These included mice, insects, fish, cats, dogs, rabbits and hamsters. When I was old enough, I would help my mum dog walking as well as walking my neighbours dogs whilst they were at work. I then found my love for horses when I started horse riding when I was around 6 years old. I then knew that I wanted to have a career with animals. I started my first full time animal job at a Kennels and Cattery which housed not only boarding dogs and cats, but also seized dogs. Although I already had experience with larger dogs, as I grew up with an Alaskan Malamute, looking after these seized dogs as well, gave me more experience with stronger and bigger dogs. I then decided that I wanted to gain more knowledge with animals, so I went to University and graduated with a First-Class Degree in Animal Science.
Whilst at University, I volunteered at the RSPCA, Blue Cross and Glendee Rescue Kennels. I created my Pawshake profile back in 2018 and I have been providing pet services ever since. As well as this, I have been providing pet services for friends and family. I am confident with all sizes and temperaments and all animals. I have several years experience with horses, including owning my own, so happy to look after farm animals and horses too! I am also confident and have experience of providing medication if your pet requires this.
I am extremely flexible, available last minute and I can accommodate to the services you need, just drop me a message and I can help!
I currently own two cats called Snowy and Nacho and a horse called Pablo. With my passion for animals, experience with all animals and qualifications, your pet will be in the best of hands. Every animal that I look after gets treated as my own! Whilst you are away, I will send you daily updates and pictures of your pets to help you feel at ease! I always get told I take the best pictures!
