I'm a life-long animal lover with both personal and professional experience with all sorts; I've had cats, dogs, ferrets, rodents, reptiles, fish, a guinea pig, turtles, and even a tarantula as pets! I also helped take care of farm animals every summer in Florida from early childhood until I moved to England when I was 20. I have training in basic care and first aid from working at a shelter in Northern California, primarily with cats, bunnies, and other small animals. I'm passionate about continuously educating myself on the unique caretaking needs of common - and perhaps not so common! - pets and am just as enthusiastic about looking after your "exotic" pets as I am your cats and dogs!

I'm happy to work with pets that may have special care needs. For example, I understand and support solitary dogs who require solo walks in isolated areas, am comfortable using head or front clip harnesses, etc. Some of my first pet sitting clients were a three legged cat and a blind dog with arthritis.

For smaller mammals with higher socialisation needs (ex. rats or ferrets), please feel free to book two visits a day and specify that you would like me to do a longer single visit to spend a good amount of time giving them enrichment time and affection.
