Hi there! I'm a 37-year-old nurse, I work remotely and have flexible working hours, allowing me to work from anywhere with internet access. I’m at my happiest when I’m around cats and dogs, and I regularly dog/house sit for friends, which I truly enjoy. Hence I joined Pawshake to expand my services to care for other furry family members.
I am available for house-sitting as long as I can access your WiFi for my day job. I will take care of all your pet’s needs, keep your house tidy, collect the post, and water your plants. (Full disclosure: I’m not the best with plants, but I’ll follow your instructions and do my best!)
I’d be happy to offer a free "meet and greet" to discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have.
A little about me:
I live in West Drayton with my wife and two cats, Frodo and Pippin. Growing up, I was surrounded by animals, including two wonderful dogs (a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Staffy Bull), plus hamsters, guinea pigs, a rabbit, a ferret, and goldfish. I even trained my dogs to perform tricks like “high five,” “bring me a present,” and “close the door.”
During my nurse training, I worked at a boarding kennels, cattery, and stables, where I learned a great deal about animal care and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks for considering me to care for your pets!
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
We can’t recommend Lydia highly enough! She house sat and looked after our 1yo dog for 10 days and she was incredible! Our dog LOVED her so much! She was so professional, kind, thoughtful and courteous with excellent comms throughout. Defiantly a natural with dogs.. and people! Our neighbours also loved her too! It’s a big deal to leave your dog with someone but I would not hesitate with Lydia for a second! She’s incredible! Any dog/owners would be lucky to have her support them!
This is the second time we have left our dog (Kojak) and cat ((Jib) with Lydia and it was so lovely to go away knowing that our pets and house were in such good hands.
